The location of services affects: - house prices - one's personal convenience/inconvenience I believe that most people will choose on these criteria. It's logical and it's how I will choose. For example if I was a landlord with several properties in the west of the county I would choose Option 1. I am worried that the decision makers, who are pushing for Option 1, live in the west. If a Freedom of Information request was available to ask where the decision makers live and how many properties they own in each locality (near PRH/near RSH) then I would ask it.
If you have not realised by now Telford is not going to get option 2 then you are totally misguided. FF have designed the whole thing to point in one direction and the result to be the one they want. This so call consultation is only a paper exercise. No amount of protests by Telford will make any difference. This is a poll between Telford against Shropshire and a big chunk of Wales. The population maths points to option 1. If Telford triples it's population over night it might make a difference. The whole consultation is a sham and Telford has been well and truly shafted
